Intensive ultralight activity southwest of field.
Noise-sensitive airport: no takeoffs 2400-0500 local

Oxnard Class D and Point Mugu Class D border Camarillo Class D airspace.

Calm winds (<5kts) Rwy 26.
Traffic Pattern Altitude: 875 MSL (single-engine) / 1075 MSL (multi-engine/jets)
Use right traffic pattern for Rwy 8.
No right base entry for Rwy 26.

VFR Traffic - Arrivals:
Contact Point Mugu Approach 15 miles out for traffic advisories. Make arrivals from NW (via Saticoy Bridge), E, or SE.
(W arrivals through Oxnard Class D via Oxnard Tower. Advise Camarillo Tower that you are an Oxnard Tower handoff).
NW arrivals expect right downwind Rwy 26, except multi-engine/jets which should cross over from right downwind to left traffic pattern midfield.
E arrivals expect straight-in Rwy 26. Report 4 miles at 1500 feet.
SE arrivals expect left base Rwy 26. Report 2 miles SE.

VFR Traffic - Recommended Departure:
Rwy 26 climb rwy heading to airport boundary then turn right hdg 310 until clear of Class D airspace.

Published OBSTACLE DEPARTURE PROCEDURE:
Rwy 8, climb to 2500 via CMA R-061.
Rwy 26, climbing right turn to 2500 via CMA R-265.

All aircraft climbing left turn direct CMA VOR/DME. Continue climb on course to assigned altitude.
