Normal Operations use runways 24R/25L for arrivals and 24L/25R for departures. East Operations use runways 6L/7R for arrivals and 6R/7L for departures. Between midnight and 7AM local time, Noise Abatement Operations use runway 6L for arrivals and 25L for departures.

Rwys 6L/R, 7L/R, climb to 2000 via heading 070, then climbing right turn, thence...
Rwys 24L/R, climb to 2000 via heading 250, then climbing left turn, thence...
Rwys 25L/R, turbojet climb to 2000 via heading 250, then climbing left turn, thence... non-turbojet climb to 2000 via heading 250, at the SMO R-154 turn left via heading 200, thence...

...climb direct SLI VORTAC, then climb on course.
