Ontario International Airport Ontario, CANORMAL OPERATIONS:
Generally RWY 26R for departures and RWY 26L for arrivals.
Departures from the UPS Cargo Terminal (southeast corner of the airport) and FedEx Terminal (southwest corner) should expect RWY26L unless requiring RWY26R length.
EAST OPERATIONS:
-sustained easterly winds of at least 15 knots.
RWY 8L for departures and RWY 8R for arrivals. East operations at KONT must be co-ordinated with operations at KLAX.
If visibility is less than 3 SM, and/or ceiling less than 1000' AGL, use RWY 8L for both arrivals and departures.
NOISE ABATEMENT OPERATIONS:
(2200 to 0700 local)
-Contra-flow operations used only when low traffic levels and good weather conditions permit.
Use RWY8R for departures, and RWY26L/R for arrivals. Noise abatement operations at KONT must be co-ordinated with operations at KLAX.
Transient & General Aviation Parking:
Limited parking available only on south side of airport, at FBO (Mercury Air) immediately west of Tower, or at FBO (Guardian) at southern edge of FedEx ramp.
Traffic Pattern Altitude: 2000 MSL (small) / 2500 MSL (large)
Published OBSTACLE DEPARTURE PROCEDURE: Rwys 26L,26R, climbing left turn. Rwys 8L,8R, climbing right turn.
All aircraft climb direct PDZ VORTAC. Aircraft departing PDZ R-091 CW R-140 and R-231 CW R-280, climb on course. All others continue climb in PDZ holding pattern (NE, right turns, 210 degrees inbound) to cross PDZ VORTAC at or above: R-281 CW R-090 6700ft; R-141 CW R-230 4000ft.
