Rwy 3-21 departure end approximately 220' from residential homes. Extended high power settings on run-up or departure negatively impact the community.

VFR departures:
Rwy 21
10 degrees left turn at end of rwy then right turn to 225 degrees to over fly golf course W of airport. Crosswind turn after reaching Lincoln Blvd at 1 mile west. After departing the pattern, no turn before reaching the shoreline. No turn before reaching 800' MSL.
Rwy 03 No turn before reaching freeway one mile east.

Published OBSTACLE DEPARTURE PROCEDURE:

Rwy 3
, climbing right turn to 5000 via SMO R-210 and LAX R-276 to SADDE INT, or for climb in visual conditions: cross SMO VOR/DME at or above 1200 then continue climb to 5000 via SMO R-210 and LAX R-276 to SADDE INT.

Rwy 21, climb to 5000 via SMO R-210 and LAX R-276 to SADDE INT, or for climb in visual conditions: cross SMO VOR/DME at or above 1200, then climb to 5000 via SMO R-210 and LAX R-276 to SADDE INT.
