California Screamin' XI (CSXI)

Starting on Sunday, June 4 at 11:00 PDT (18:00Z) and ending at 16:00 PDT (23:00Z)

The Los Angeles and Oakland ARTCC's are pleased to announce, the 11th installment of the very popular California Screamin' Series to be held Sunday, June 4th. Along with ZLA and ZOA, Albuquerque (ZAB), Denver (ZDV) and Salt Lake (ZLC) are teaming up to blow all other series of Cal Scream out of the water! Popularly known as "CalScream," VATUSA's largest online event hopes to smash previous online records by attracting traffic to the extremely realistic environment CalScream creates.

From 1800z through into the evening, you can expect to find some of the most realistic and professional controlling available outside of the real aviation community. Aircraft will be travelling across the ZLA and ZOA skies in many directions at once.

Rather than creating large traffic flows into a one or two fields, CalScream seeks to fill the skies with traffic going in many directions at once. While the LAX-SFO and SFO-LAX routes will undoubtedly be popular, there are so many other flights to try, with full staff to back it up. Check out the Pilot Info page for route suggestions.
