Starting on Saturday, April 12 at 10:00 PDT (17:00Z) and ending at 14:00 PDT (21:00Z)

Los Angeles ARTCC is pleased to announce the first event specifically designed to support the ZLA Pilot Cert Program

This is a great opportunity for pilots who have considered joining the program to dive in and receive full ATC support while they pursue their first few ratings, starting with VFR pattern work, a quick hop from SNA to ONT, and then two passes over the top of LAX via two of the published VFR transitions. This is followed up with numerous IFR flights around ZLA, each one introducing a new concept.

Pilots who have already started the program can use this opportunity to knock out several ratings in a row.

Those who have already finished all ratings can feel free to enjoy the ATC at several Class C and D airports around ZLA.

Just announced: The I-10 and I-11 ratings will be launched just prior to the event, viewable only to existing I-9 graduates. If you are an I-9 graduate but haven't registered on the site, please do so.

Featured airports (either by TWR or overlying APP) include:

• LAX (Class B)

• LAS (Class B)

• SAN (Class B)

• SNA (Class C)

• ONT (Class C, suggested V-1 location)

• BUR (Class C, suggested V-1 location)

• CRQ (Class D, suggested V-1 location)
