Starting on Sunday, June 1 at 11:00 PDT (18:00Z) and ending at 14:00 PDT (21:00Z)

ZLA is pleased to announce D-Day '08, in memory of Don "FH" Fiveash, one of the founding members of the VFR movement within ZLA.

Pilots are invited to come and enjoy some VFR flying, or short-haul IFR within the Socal area. Numerous Class D facilities will be staffed, including FH's favorite field, Santa Monica. John Wayne (SNA) will also be open, providing a fine opportunity to work through the ZLA Pilot Cert program, too.
